What data we process
- Analytics data (with your consent): via Google Analytics 4 — including a randomised identifier, pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and referral source.
- Performance data: via Vercel Speed Insights — aggregate Core Web Vitals measurements, without cookies.
- Technical/server data: standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) processed to operate and secure the site.
- Preferences: your language choice and your cookie consent decision, stored in strictly necessary cookies.
Purposes and legal bases
- Analytics and audience measurement — your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw it at any time.
- Operating, delivering and securing the website — our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in running a functional, safe site.
- Remembering your language and consent choices — necessary for a service you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)/(f)).
Processors and third parties
We share data with service providers acting on our instructions:
- Google (Google Analytics) — audience measurement.
- Vercel — website hosting and performance measurement.
- Supabase — database and storage infrastructure.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are safeguarded by mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics (up to 14 months) and then deleted or aggregated. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Consent and language cookies last up to 1 year, or until you delete them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any right, contact info@phantic.io.
